Here’s how to enter-
2 easy steps-

2. Come back to the fanpage and write on the wall and let me know that you’ve updated your status and you would like to enter the contest.

That’s it!

Here is the fine print-
1. One (1) entry per facebook account (multiple family members are allowed, however!)
2. Contest ends Saturday, July 11th at 9 a.m. central time. One person will be randomly selected to receive the mini-session, valued at $250.

Package includes:
* 30 minute family photo-session at a location chosen by the photographer
* Online Gallery of 10-15 images from the session
* CD of high resolution files with a print release
* 25 press- printed, folded 5×7 holiday cards (winner will be able to select from a variety of card designs)

3. Contestants will be able to chose a holiday mini session in Birmingham, AL or Atlanta, GA
4. Shooting Star Photography will add the winner as a facebook friend (if necessary) to verify that there was a status update to complete step 1.
5. If the winner is unable to attend the mini-session for whatever reason, it is non-transferable or redeemable for cash or credits with Shooting Star Photography.

And since I can’t post without some pictures - here are some from this week of my daughter and godson enjoying some summertime fun:

I finished up pictures of this handsome boy with his family last night and I wanted to come back and share a few more. I loved the colors and how happy and beautiful they all are together!

I am in Atlanta this weekend for a back-to-back & packed weekend, but couldn’t help share this picture of William and his gorgeous mommy.

Expect many more shares from this session because I have a ton of favorites!

This one absolutely speaks to me emotionally-

I think William has the best lips ever!!! What a handsome boy!

Silor is a gorgeous and happy 2 year old girl who is going to be a big sister soon!

I’ve known her mommy and daddy for a long time, so it was great to get to see them as a family and photograph them with their happy baby girl.

This smile is so infectious. I love it. I couldn’t help smiling and laughing when I saw the sweet faces and pretty smiles she gave me!

I have been awaiting the arrival of sweet baby Maddox for quite some time.  He was the sleepiest newborn I’ve had to date -  and it was love at first sight!

He was showing out already - so handsome!

I love it!

I had so much fun photographing 2 year old Henry and his parents! We had a beautiful day and were able to spend some time at the park together. He is so full of life and such a happy boy. I think you can just see his personality in these pictures, and I love them!

Here is Henry watching the dogs jump in the lake… which I heard was his favorite part of the day! I love his expression.

The shoemaker’s kids never get the shoes. And in my case, when they do, they won’t look at the camera!

I set up Easter shots for my daughter, and out of the tons of pictures I took, here are the only two where she was remotely looking at me and the camera and smiling. Luckily my smile inducing tricks work on all kids but my own. She just ignores me when I pull out the camera!

I was going to make Easter cards for her classmates and teachers at school, but my computer crashed this week so I’m a little behind on my to-do list!  I have some other sneak peeks coming this week too…!

And lastly, the shoes! My child is obsessed with shoes, and this pair was no exception. Our friends (and personal trainer) the Drake’s, gave these to Kate (along with many, many other pairs of shoes and huge bags of clothes). Kate is all set for Easter, Spring, and Summer!  Aren’t these adorable? They have little “cotton tails” on the back of each shoe!

I know I’m a little early on this - but seeing these pictures made me laugh, so I had to share them! You gotta love the mama’s boys and the daddy’s girls in your life!

This sneak peek was so easy to pull together because every single picture of Savannah was so fun and cute.   She’s absolutely beautiful and so well behaved, she made my job a breeze! I have what seems like a million more fantastic pictures from her session, too. Narrowing them down will be the hard part.

Her parents are the owners of Drake Fitness here in Birmingham. I’m so excited because they are going to be training me and helping me get back into shape!
