Unfortunately, in the recent past we encountered an attack on our site which resulted in unauthorized access to the administrative areas of our server. This has been remedied and we ensure that our site is free of any malware. We apologize if this compromise inconvenienced any of our readers.

Here’s how to enter-
2 easy steps-

2. Come back to the fanpage and write on the wall and let me know that you’ve updated your status and you would like to enter the contest.

That’s it!

Here is the fine print-
1. One (1) entry per facebook account (multiple family members are allowed, however!)
2. Contest ends Saturday, July 11th at 9 a.m. central time. One person will be randomly selected to receive the mini-session, valued at $250.

Package includes:
* 30 minute family photo-session at a location chosen by the photographer
* Online Gallery of 10-15 images from the session
* CD of high resolution files with a print release
* 25 press- printed, folded 5×7 holiday cards (winner will be able to select from a variety of card designs)

3. Contestants will be able to chose a holiday mini session in Birmingham, AL or Atlanta, GA
4. Shooting Star Photography will add the winner as a facebook friend (if necessary) to verify that there was a status update to complete step 1.
5. If the winner is unable to attend the mini-session for whatever reason, it is non-transferable or redeemable for cash or credits with Shooting Star Photography.

Savannah!!!

Let me tell you, this was one close race! There was close to 8,000 votes in this contest, but it came down to Savannah and Cristian and there was only 1 % point between the two.

Congratulations to all the finalists in this contest. You all have extremely beautiful children, so as many said in the comments - “everyone is a winner!”

Thanks for playing. This was really fun for me also and I plan to do something similar, but bigger and better for next year!!!

Wow, thank you all so very much for the overwhelming response I had for this contest. I loved hearing from former clients and seeing their favorite pictures, and some even told me what their picture meant to them.  I felt such an emotional connection to each submission, that I quickly realized when I had over 30 pictures to chose from that I was in WAY over my head. There was no way I could pick, so I had help from an unbiased 3rd party select the 10 finalists! If it were up to me, I would’ve selected them all!

I included a couple of comments that I received from two mothers on the interpretation of their pictures that I thought were especially touching. But don’t let that sway your vote…

The photographs will precede the voting poll, so don’t forget to vote at the bottom!

The polls close on Wednesday, May 13th at 5 p.m. Contestants, please make sure to send this post to all your friends and family so they can vote for your child’s picture!
