Shooting Star Photography

I loved this in-home session today! It was supposed to POUR down rain in Atlanta today, but luckily it didn’t seem to hurt the light.  These two sisters are gorgeous and such a pleasure to photograph.

Sweet Linden is 6 months old already. It seems like yesterday I was doing her newborn pictures! Look how big she is now and such a good little sitter!

I got some sweet smiles from sister Siler too! Say that three times :).

Sweet Sally is growing up before my eyes!

I was there for her birth, newborn photos, 3 month shots, and now, she’s already 1/2  a year old! Where does the time go?

Is this not the most gorgeous baby girl??? I love her eyes and sweet smile!

First of all, I must apologize for the blogging hiatus! We moved into our new house, unpacked, had a birthday party and housewarming party, and as a result, my blog has been sorely neglected.

I’m also working on some exciting new things/changes for Shooting Star Photography, so add all that up, and my blogging time has been very limited. More to come on the new stuff soon!

Ok, enough with the excuses, on to a preview of one of my favorite sessions EVER! I had so much fun with this 2 yr old brother and his 7 month old sister. I cannot even tell you in words  - so I’ll let the images speak for themselves.

As soon as I got to Atlanta I met up with the fabulous Jody of Jodylynn Photography and her family for lunch.

Then it was off to Grace’s christening-

Followed by a reception and and a quick session with Grace and her family-

Then it was off to baby Linden and big sister Siler’s house for newborn pictures. Linden had been in the hospital for a few days with a fever, but luckily made it home and was feeling great in time for our session!

I wrapped up the weekend with Sawyer! He will turn 3 in two weeks. We had a blast at the park-

Whew, that wears me out to think about it all over again, but it sure was fun! Stay tuned for more this week…

The last time I saw Carson, he was only 10 days old and he looked like this -

Now, he’s growing up and is over 6 months old. He’s such a happy baby, even though he had to travel to Birmingham for our session and we were interfering with naptime toward the end! I had a great time and love seeing how fast babies change.

I loved this one in color and black and white and couldn’t decide. What do you think?

I love this family picture, and it makes me feel like Spring is really here!

Such a happy, handsome little guy!

Sweet and smiley Blakely was such an easy, laid-back baby to photograph, I could’ve stayed there all day taking happy pictures of her!

She is so cute and has the prettiest blue eyes and big, bright smile! Don’t you agree?

Pate is a handome 5 month old little guy! He was all smiles when I arrived but by the end of our shoot he was worn out!

Pate’s mommy has a forte’ for decorating! I loved her style. I wish she’d come decorate my house!

I told you Pate’s mom had great decorating sense. She made this canvas sectioned mural, and the name and birthday canvas above his bed. I love it!

I’m wrapping up her proofs and loved these 2 in black and white also.

Heston is the cutest red-headed, 7 month old boy, ever! He’s already sitting and crawling, so I’d say he’s pretty advanced too. I met him and his parents at their gorgeous home on a dreary, dark day. I love these pictures because of the family interaction and Heston’s sweet smiles, but I will want to go back and take some of him when we can get more light or be outside - so hopefully we’ll be seeing more of Heston soon!

I adore baby thighs - these are especially fantastic. They won’t look like this much longer when he starts crawling and walking up a storm!

Beautiful Mary Ellis is 6 months old!

I took her 3 month pictures, and we plan to do 9 months and 12 months also! It’s so fun to watch her grow. She has the most gorgeous blue eyes- I had to show you all these in color! I didn’t touch them, she got these baby blues from her mommy.

Miss M.E. is now sitting fairly well for 6 months old, and she’s cooing up a storm. She’s such a sweet baby!
