Welcome to my blog! Take a look around. Here you'll find recent posts of sneak peeks from sessions I have done, as well as contests and news.

Photography gives me a creative outlet and a way for me to freeze time. Time goes by even faster with a child, and photographing mine allows me to keep her small and with me forever.  God gave me the gift of photography. I share my gift of capturing and freezing time with others, and the thought of how I am able to do that for my clients, family, and friends  - makes me smile!

This sweet baby boy was eleven days old when I photographed him yesterday. He was so sweet and gave me some great eye contact for a newborn - that never happens! Check out this one of him with his mommy -

2009 Birmingham Holiday Mini Sessions | {Birmingham, AL photographer}

Wow, what a fun time I had with my mini sessions at my home this year! I love these families and children. Unfortunately it seemed to fly by in an instant! I wanted to hold the babies and play with the kids!

Santa Claus is coming to town… |{Birmingham, AL child photographer}

Did you realize it’s already November!!??

It came as quite a shock to me too… but I got used to the idea really fast with some fun Santa mini-sessions today! It was an absolutely BEAUTIFUL day with perfect weather!

Most of the kids loved Santa and enjoyed visiting with him…

Some even felt comfortable enough to share their catalog wish-lists with him!

Later that evening, all we heard was, “Where’s Santa Claus?”  So funny!
