Photography gives me a creative outlet and a way for me to freeze time. Time goes by even faster with a child, and photographing mine allows me to keep her small and with me forever. God gave me the gift of photography. I share my gift of capturing and freezing time with others, and the thought of how I am able to do that for my clients, family, and friends - makes me smile!
Sweet Sally is growing up before my eyes!
I was there for her birth, newborn photos, 3 month shots, and now, she’s already 1/2 a year old! Where does the time go?
Is this not the most gorgeous baby girl??? I love her eyes and sweet smile!

My work is now on the cover of “The Expectant Mother’s Guide to Atlanta”, 2009 edition. Yay!
I was excited when the editor contacted me earlier this year to ask if they could use a picture of one of my maternity clients as the cover for their annual guide.
This publication will reach over 15,000 new and expecting parents in the Atlanta metro are.

First of all, I must apologize for the blogging hiatus! We moved into our new house, unpacked, had a birthday party and housewarming party, and as a result, my blog has been sorely neglected.
I’m also working on some exciting new things/changes for Shooting Star Photography, so add all that up, and my blogging time has been very limited. More to come on the new stuff soon!
Ok, enough with the excuses, on to a preview of one of my favorite sessions EVER! I had so much fun with this 2 yr old brother and his 7 month old sister. I cannot even tell you in words - so I’ll let the images speak for themselves.
