Audrey was probably one of the easiest and happiest babies I have ever photographed. I think we were done about 20 minutes into the session but I decided to keep shooting because she kept smiling! Audrey will be one very soon… Happy birthday baby girl!

I cannot tell you how thrilled I am that Spring is here. Blue skies, green grass, cherry blossoms, dogwoods, azaleas, and red buds all make for such beautiful backdrops, don’t you think?

We were a little challenged to shoot in full sun and splotchy shade, but we made it work out beautifully I think!

My favorite shot of the day…

Baby Darren is special to me for lots of reasons, but my favorite reason is because we share a birthday… We are both groundhog’s day babies, so that means Darren is about 7 weeks old now, and well, I am about 1,619 weeks old. Ouch.

I was so excited to finally get to meet Darren and to hangout with big-sister, Danielle. I had a great time! Congratulations Emily, Rob, and Doodle on your newest family member! He’s absolutely adorable, and I am completely smitten!!!!

I had no doubt that MJ would be a very handsome baby boy because I had met his gorgeous parents at their maternity session and was overwhelmed by how beautiful they were - inside and out.  So, of course it was no surprise when meeting MJ and spending some time with him that I came to learn he’s just like his parents.

He was so adorable, and absolutely laid back during our session. I never heard him cry once, and he was very alert and observant until he drifted off to sleep! I did notice he tried to roll over a few times during our session. He may be an over achiever too Crystal and Marcus. Watch out :). I had a great time with you guys. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

The last time I saw Carson, he was only 10 days old and he looked like this -

Now, he’s growing up and is over 6 months old. He’s such a happy baby, even though he had to travel to Birmingham for our session and we were interfering with naptime toward the end! I had a great time and love seeing how fast babies change.

Such a happy, handsome little guy!

Ella Rose, such a beautiful name for a gorgeous little newborn girl! She and her parents came to visit for a nice photoshoot and she was so excited about it that she only wanted to sleep for just a few minutes of our session! I can’t get over how alert she was to be just 1 week old. I hope she slept well for her mom and dad last night.
