Shooting Star Photography

Lake and his mommy and daddy met me at the park tonight for some family pictures!!! They are such a cute family! Wouldn’t you agree?

When I finally finish proofing a session, sometimes I find a new favorite that I didn’t sneak peek. Well, here’s one of 3 month old Mary Ellis. What a gorgeous baby girl! Beautiful!

Miss Abigail is another 10 day old baby who I was blessed to have the opportunity to meet this weekend! She was so excited about our shoot that she only slept about 2minutes of it! She was wide awake and happy to be there - so precious and content. When she did drift off for the few minutes she must have been dreaming something very sweet because I was able to capture a few adorable smiles!

Abigail’s daddy is absoulutely smitten with the new girl in his life. He was so attentive and such a wonderful father! It probably helps that Abigail looks just like her Mommy, because now he has two beautiful women to love. Congratulations again, Amanda and Will!

I decided today that I’m in love with 10 day old baby boys! Seriously, they are perfect and the cutest things ever. I have a 10 day old little girl to shoot tomorrow and I’m beginning to think that may put me over the edge. I seriously am going to have baby fever when this weekend is over. This is NOT good - don’t tell my husband!

Do you remember Stefanie? Well, the beautiful mom looked fantastic today and I would have loved to sneak peek pictures of her with her baby boy too, but he was soo incredibly precious I decided Cristian should be the star of this show. But don’t worry mom and dad, I have some fantastic family pictures coming your way!

I cannot believe my child will be 1 year old in less than a week now. I was playing with my flash and doing some homework, here I have made flash look like natural light. Yay!

Also can you believe this out of control bed-head hair?

I have known the parents of these adorable children since I was in elementary school! It’s always fun to catch up with old friends, but especially fun when you get to meet their kids and see how much they are like their mommy and daddy!

3 year old Langley, 18 month old Corbin and I had fun exploring a burned out building, some train tracks, and the view of the bridge from the police station. Sounds exciting and dangerous, huh? Well, lucky for us, it was pretty tame!

I love new locations so this was exciting for me! It took me so long to sneak peek these too because I have so many favorites! Aggh! Decisions - my downfall :).

These 2 sisters are absolutely gorgeous and were so cute in their matching dresses for our shoot! We wore Mary Ellis out and she decided to conveniently take a nap for us. Who says you can’t do newborn poses with a 3 month old? :).

The Jarmon sisters kick-offed my work in Alabama! I’m excited to start working with people in what will be my new hometown, starting at the end of October!  I can’t wait!

It’s not often when I want to call a baby boy beautiful, but Carson certainly is! This handsome (is that better?) guy is just 10 days old and still had his umbilical cord. He slept like an angel the last half of our session and let us put him anywhere :). Congratulations on such a wonderful son J & A!

Beautiful girl Sam will be 1 Year Old on Wednesday!! Her mommy and daddy threw a fun birthday party fo her yesterday! I have never seen a baby dive into their cake (or cupcake) like Samantha did. So cute! We had a great time.

My husband has known Evan’s daddy since they were young kids! Evan and his daddy were here visiting this week and I had about 10 seconds (or at least it felt that way) to photograph him before it started raining!

I hope to get much more of this sweet face when they are back in October!
